Main function of the Department: Organize nationwide crime combating operations, develop policy and strategy, and provide professional and methodological guidance, develop, update and assess the final findings of regulation related to finding, collecting, keeping and assessing crime traces at the crime scene, develop, implement, assess, create database, use, and evaluate strategy and policy of intelligence and investigation operations, receive and register criminal and offense petitions and information, provide central and local police organizations with professional guidance.

CRIMINAL POLICE DEPARTMENT

Main function of the Department: Organize intelligence operations and designated investigation operations of Police Organization and provide central and local police organizations with professional guidance.

Within the new structure of the department investigation units were established in the economic crime, anti-narcotics, and organized crime divisions, to fight, intercept, prevent, detect, and investigate emerging crimes without delay.
